Frederique Constant Highlife COSC certified Series Automatic watch FC-303BLS3NH6B. Part of the Highlife series. Made in Switzerland. The FC-303BLS3NH6B is shipped with a spare leather strap with the easy strap changing system and also includes a COSC certificate.
Rarely are watches certified by the COSC (Official Swiss Chronometer Testing Institute). This certificate is only issued to pieces that can guarantee perfect isochronism over a given time and at given positions – in effect, their ability to tell the time correctly, consistently and precisely, within the strict limits enforced by an ISO standard.Â
The COSC is an independent Swiss organisation that only issues its chronometer certificates to these pieces after the watches have undergone numerous tests over several days. COSC certified pieces form an elite, a class of their own, intended for collectors for whom “Swiss precision” is an everyday necessity. The Highlife Automatic COSC was developed especially for them.
Featuring the FC-303 mechanical automatic movement with a 38 hour power reserve, 26 jewels and running at 28,800 alt / h, this movement is certified by COSC. The case size is 39mm with a thickness of 10.34mm with a lug width of 24mm and is made with polished and brushed effect stainless steel. The glass used is convex Sapphire crystal with anti-glare coating on both sides. Adding to the overall aesthetic is the see-through case back. The watch has a water resistance rating of 100m or 10 ATM.
